Featuring a stunning first look and a high-energy reception, the wedding of PJ and Allison shows that you can have a New Orleans party at a beautiful, classic plantation. This film is one of our favorites of the year!
Very happy to share Kristin Alfandre Maum & Garrett's wedding film with everyone this Monday morning. We really loved the time we were able to spend with the couple at Mount Hope Plantation House. You can see the excitement and love that both of them have for one another in the moments where they're reading each other's letters to one another. There's nervousness, happiness, and smiles galore.
Our pleasure to take you back to New Orleans in March for the gorgeous destination wedding of Angela and Justin.
The clouds remained threatening and had the first look moved inside, but when all was said and done the ceremony went off without a hitch and both Angela and Justin were able to enjoy an amazing wedding day.
Bridal preparations began at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel where Justin walked to share in the first look with Angela. Even though the lobby was packed with activity, it felt like Angela and Justin were the only two people in the entire hotel when they shared in that moment together.
From there it was the short walk around the corner to the Maison Montegut for the ceremony in their beautiful, hidden courtyard. I'm always amaz...
Our #tbt brings you the wedding film from Amy and Jay's beautiful wedding day earlier this year in New Orleans.
Both Amy and Jay prepped for the festivities at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans so we were able to capture the nerves and excitement as each of them got ready for the evening to follow. Shout out to Ashley Bravo of the Traci Woodard Salon for nailing Amy's makeup and hair for the night!
You'll notice in the film that we were able to hear Amy recall how Jay proposed which ended up nicely mirroring the homily from their ceremony. I think my favorite moment of prep, however, was Amy's surprise reaction to seeing her son John Wallace in his wedding outfit. It's a priceless smile, and something we loved to see.
"It's a cruel world out there and love can be a cruel journey at times, so I want them at any age and at any moment to be able to take this video and be inspired to not give up on love by seeing how much their dad and I love each other and love them." - Lauren, the bride
I'm starting this post off with a quote from the bride that she sent me in one of her first emails to me. Throughout the shooting and editing process, it's been like a guidepost for how I would approach the film of Lauren and Joey. I wanted to make sure that Joey's children - Camille and Brennan - could always see the love of the couple come through the screen; and I wanted to make sure we captured those special moments with them as well.
