Very happy to share Kristin Alfandre Maum & Garrett's wedding film with everyone this Monday morning. We really loved the time we were able to spend with the couple at Mount Hope Plantation House. You can see the excitement and love that both of them have for one another in the moments where they're reading each other's letters to one another. There's nervousness, happiness, and smiles galore.
We made the familiar trip to Natchez, Mississippi back in January for the wedding day of Emily and Tres. The couple both got ready at The Briars Bed and Breakfast before sharing in that first look that we always enjoy filming. The grounds at the Briars were simply stunning and provided a great backdrop to capture these moments.
From there we hopped back in the car for the short trip to Ferriday for thewedding mass at St. Patrick's. Even with the nerves diminished from the first look, you can still see the excitement and joy in Tres' eyes when Emily came down the aisle.
Our newest wedding film comes to you from the heart of New Orleans as we share the stunning wedding of Lydia and David. The day started for us at the bride's home before traveling to the Academy of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans for the ceremony. You can see in the trailer that we really lucked out with the weather as the sky shone beautifully that afternoon (check out some of that scenery)!
We tried to feature the vows some in the trailer because I'm always a big fan of the couple taking the time to memorize them. It sounds even more intimate than normal and allows the couple to stay in the moment (instead of having to repeat after someone else).
After the ceremony, there was a short trip up St. Charles to the Orleans Club for the wedding r...
I want to give fair warning to everyone who has us film their rehearsal dinner. If one of your guests quotes The Princess Bride, in his or her speech, we're going to use it in your flashback film. And with that brief movie memory, our beautiful New Orleans wedding weekend began.
The wedding weekend of Lindsey and Levi was absolutely awesome. We were invited to join them the night before the big day at Broussard's Restaurant & Courtyard in the heart of the French Quarter and were really pleased to learn more about how they met and see the love that their friends and family have for them.
It's hard behind the camera sometimes because we're focused on telling the story without interjecting ourselves into it. But it was hard not to laugh along...
We always relish the opportunity to spend an entire wedding weekend with a couple. From the rehearsal dinner through the grand exit at the reception, you're able to glean a great deal about who the couple are as individuals as well as how they flourish together.
In the case of Trevor and Mary, I have known the groom for a few years; but it was still eye-opening to learn the history between them through the eyes of their family and closest friends. Upstairs at Ralph's on the Park was such a nice setting for these stories and really added to the ambiance of the evening.
Flash forward a few days and a couple of miles to Mary's parents' home for all of those great bridal prep scenes we've come to love capturing. It's always special to have the...
We returned to the beautiful Nottoway Plantation for the wedding festivities of Cole Garrett and Ashley Garrett and had an awesome time capturing their day to share with all of you.
The couple shared in an intimate first look on the balcony of Nottoway's big house overlooking the Mississippi River before taking photos with family and friends. From there the sun set and the ceremony occurred under the night's sky with the groom's former boss and professor, the Honorable Judge Guy Holdridge perfroming the ceremony. Antoaneta Bella Musica provided the lovely violin accompaniment to the ceremony.
Following their exchange of vows was a short walk to Randolph's for the high-energy reception. Souled Out provided the tunes and put on a hell of a sh...
Our latest wedding film comes to you from here, at home, in Baton Rouge.
Lauren and Blake had an amazing wedding day; and we're really happy with how everything turned out. Our day started joining Lauren at the Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge for her prep. The light shone through the windows and really provided a gorgeous setting for her, her bridesmaids, and family to get themselves ready for the big night. We were even able to go down on the street so Lauren and her dad could share a special first look with one another.
From here, we met up with Blake and his groomsmen at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church as he finished getting ready for the ceremony. A beautiful homily by the father highlighted a great ceremony that lead to the hopping re...
The rustic setting popped in the (almost) fall air and provided some great scenery to accompany the festivities. While Especially for You Florist added the perfect notes to highlight the ambiance even more.Self-described "nerds," both the bride and groom decorated the barn with table decorations and cake toppers that reminded them of their favorite TV shows.
Being a fellow television enthusiast, I had a good time playing with some of the props and adding them to the trailer.
DJ Brandon Hayes of Press Play DJ Service did a fantastic job emceeing the evening and keeping the music spinning throughout the night. F...
Our team traveled to Albany for Jessica and Chaase's beautiful wedding day. The weather could not have been better as the couple tied the knot, and we have a stunning wedding film to share with you.
It's always special to be invited to share in these entire days with our brides who allow us to enter their homes and film the time they spend with family and friends in those hours leading up to the ceremony. I always recommend working at least some of prep so we're able to tell the story of the whole day - nerves, excitement, and all.
I think my favorite moment might be the sweet part of the ceremony where Chaase gave a ring to his and Jessica's daughter; but there were so many great catches that it's hard to say for sure. The Cedar Post Bar...
