Werner + Wes

Over Valentine's weekend we were welcomed back to Shreveport to share in the festivities with Werner and Wes for their big weekend. Before the big day we were treated to a great time at the Shreveport Club for the rehearsal dinner. Here, we were able to capture some beautiful, heart-felt speeches that demonstrated the love that all the attendees have for both Werner and Wes.

The next day was packed with activities as we first met the bride and her bridal party at Chemistry Hair Salon before joining the guys at the Shreveport Gun Club for a little skeet. Then, the time began to tick down until the walk down the aisle as we traveled to the gorgeous St. Mark's Cathedral to finish preparations and celebrate the ceremony with all in attendance.

From there the party traveled to The Petroleum Club for a night filled with dancing and laughing. I don't know if I've ever seen a more enthusiastic cake cutting than what we got to see that night. Since both the bride and groom live in Memphis, there was a "Memphis Room" set up serving a number of barbecue items with multiple sauces to choose from and Dorsey Summerfield providing the musical accompaniment. In the main room, Windstorm played the tunes and put on a really fun show for the entire crowd.

As the evening wound down, the couple and wedding attendees second lined from the Petroleum Club back to the wedding hotel to end the night.

Special thanks, as always, to Kathryn Gaiennie (kgfinephoto.com) for being a true pleasure to work with throughout the weekend.
