Lauren + Jason
We really enjoyed our first visit to Rip Van Winkle Gardens (ripvanwinklegardens.com) in New Iberia to capture Lauren and Jason's big day. From the lake to the peacocks roaming the grounds, it was the perfect scenic backdrop for the wedding.
The day started for us as we joined Lauren getting ready on -site with her bridesmaids and family. Before the ceremony we were able to share in a great first look between the bride and groom. As you can see in the trailer, the joy and laughter they shared with one another in this moment was something special and a real pleasure to get on film.
From there it was just a short walk to the ceremony site where friends and family gathered for the exchange of vows. The service began just before dusk and was complimented by beautiful violin and piano accompaniment.
Once rings were given and the ceremony finished, everyone made the short walk to the Bayless Center for the reception. Rewind (rewindbandla.com) provided some outstanding tunes for the ceremony - as per usual - and the dancing never really stopped until Lauren and Jason left through the sparklers into the night.
