It's always extra special when we have the opportunity to share in not only the wedding with a couple but also the rehearsal dinner. A little more casual and intimate, the rehearsal dinner always provides us with some great speeches and moments that help us get to know the couple even better.
For Kara and Evans, we were able to join them the night before the big day at the Kress Gallery in downtown Baton Rouge and listen to their friends and family sing their praises. The laughter and tears flowed freely throughout the evening, and we were lucky enough to capture it all on video for them.
The next evening, we met everyone at St. John's for a beautiful wedding mass followed by the short drive out to Nottoway Plantation for the reception. The premises was lit up beautifully for the night with candles and flower arrangements placed throughout the area. It was a stunning setting to celebrate the reception. Finally, as the night wore down, the couple and their guests made a short walk out towards the levee to witness a beautiful fireworks display at the end of the evening.
Special thanks to Alyssa Smith for being a great coordinator to work with in this whole process. Also a shout out to Kim and her team for being great partners to share in the duties of capturing the day.
Congrats again to Kara and Evans!
