Shannan | Michael - Latrobe's in The French Quarter is the Perfect Setting for this New Orleans
Destination weddings are some of our favorites to shoot because all the guests are in the mood to party. As you can see in the film, there was plenty of partying on the dance floor, and one of the best second lines we've ever captured.
Before the party, however, we joined the couple and their guests at St. Mary's Assumption Church for a beautiful ceremony. You can hear some of Father's words in the film, and I think he absolutely nailed it.
From there the caravan headed into the French Quarter for the beautiful reception Latrobe's On Royal. Latrobe's really is a gorgeous spot for a wedding as the ambiance just feels like New Orleans. Poppy & Mint Floral Company handled the stunning floral arrangements with Firefly Ambiance Candles & Decor providing the great candles and additional decor.
After being introduced and nailing their first dances, the couple were toasted. We always enjoy speeches at the reception (or at the rehearsal dinner) as they typically provide some great content to drive the narrative of the story. In this case, I really enjoyed the stories that Shannan's sister and Michael's best man told us as their parallel examples really hit on exactly how Shannan and Michael are compatible for one another.

Throughout the evening Nola Dukes Band put on a hell of a show. They had a great sound and played an eclectic mix of music that kept the floor packed until the second line by the Paulin Brothers Brass band.
