Allison | PJ - A plantation destination film from right outside New Orleans

Our latest wedding film this week features Allison and PJ on their stunning, spring wedding day at Destrehan Plantation. We can't wait for you to watch it!

Both Allison and PJ started the day in downtown New Orleans at the JW Marriott New Orleans. I think we were able to grab some really great shots of both of them prepping before the evening's activities commenced. I especially liked the father of the bride's reaction to seeing her coming down the stairs. We love capturing moments like that.

You'll also see how we used the couple's first look with one another to kind of help tell the story of the day. First looks are great ways to calm the nerves before the wedding (as Allison so correctly points out in the moment) as well as an opportunity to get some beautiful footage.

Once the ceremony was finished, everyone made the walk inside to party the night away. GROOVY 7 rocked the dance floor like normal and put on a great show until everyone second line'd out of the barn.

Much praise to the crew from Elizabeth Burkhardt Events for organizing the day and keeping things moving smoothly. Also a huge shout out to Heather and her team at Dark Roux for being great to work with throughout the day's events.
