Olivia | Cameron - A rustic wedding film that is quintessentially Louisiana.
Trying to keep the films coming, as we feature Olivia and Cameron's beautiful wedding for you today.
Even though there were torrential down pours before and during the ceremony, Olivia was cool as a cucumber throughout. It's sometimes tough when the weather gets crazy, but when the bride just rolls with it you know you're in for a good day.
After getting ready at her family home (where one of the bridemaids Amanda Genovese Cecil knocked the make-up out of the park), the bride and crew headed to Academy of the Sacred Heart (a first trip to Grand Coteau for us) to share in the ceremonial Mass in the chapel on campus. As an alumna of the school, the location had a true significance to Olivia (and a number of her bridesmaids).
A real highlight of the ceremony for me were the looks of excitement shared between Cameron and Landon as Olivia walked down the aisle. Also keep an eye out for Landon during the ring exchange as he is positively ecstatic to see his mom so happy.
With mass completed, everyone made the quick drive to Washington, LA (another first trip for us) to celebrate with the couple at the Wolff Banquet and Reception Hall. Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band kept the Zydeco playing throughout the night, and we were able to catch a ton of great Cajun dance moves. Big shout outs to Kathleen Short and Jim Durio for their cake and flower work, respectively.
Huge thanks to Alyssa and her crew with Alyssa Arlene Events for helping keep things clear and organized for us throughout the wedding planning and on the wedding day. Also a big thank you to Kim Boyd of Kimbrali Photography who is always a huge pleasure to shoot alongside.
Congrats again Olivia and Cameron!
