Victoria | Hunter - Classic Catholic wedding film from Baton Rouge, LA
We're continuing to post new films throughout the week and are happy to share a quick look at Hunter and Victoria's wedding here in Baton Rouge.
The day started as both the bride and groom got ready at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. We love being able to see those nerves right before the ceremony; it usually leads to some great footage (as it did here).
From there, everyone made the short drive to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church where the bride's parents had been married over 25 years earlier and where she was baptized as a baby. You could tell that the couple had a deep connection not only with their church but with the priest who lent us his words for the fun intro to their film. I thought his words really helped tell the story of the day and emphasize the importance of the marriage sacrament.
After Mass, the evening finished at the City Club Of Baton Rouge for the party. As always, The Bucktown All-Stars put on a hell of a show and kept the dance floor packed until the last note was played. Lance Hayes Flowers did beautiful work as did Baum's Fine Pastries with the cakes.
Huge thanks to Kate Cook of KBCook Weddings for coordinating the big day. She always does an excellent job keeping all the moving parts working throughout a hectic day. Also much gratitude to Doug and CheyAnne of Arte De Vie for joining us in capturing the wedding day.
Beautiful wedding, great couple, congrats!
