Emily | Tres - A Fun Trip up the Mississippi River to Natchez, Vidalia

We made the familiar trip to Natchez, Mississippi back in January for the wedding day of Emily and Tres. The couple both got ready at The Briars Bed and Breakfast before sharing in that first look that we always enjoy filming. The grounds at the Briars were simply stunning and provided a great backdrop to capture these moments.

From there we hopped back in the car for the short trip to Ferriday for thewedding mass at St. Patrick's. Even with the nerves diminished from the first look, you can still see the excitement and joy in Tres' eyes when Emily came down the aisle.

The night progressed to the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center for the couple's reception. Our friends of Rewind Band provided the tunes and knocked it out of the park (as per usual). There was a nice underlying America theme to the proceedings with guests signing a really cool wooden American flag and red, white, and blue streamers being handed out for the couple's exit at the end of the evening.

Shout out's to The Bakery Cottage who created the beautiful wedding cake and Uptown Grocery who produced a really cool groom's kingcake. Credit for the wide array of food goes to Spice Thyme Catering while the lovely floral arrangements were designed by O" So Pretty Flowers, Gifts, & Tanning.

Also a special plug for Haley Bale Photography who joined us in the task of preserving Emily and Tres' festivities to be-relived whenever they choose to revisit them. She was great to work with throughout the day!
