Chelsea | Josh - A beautiful Baton Rouge wedding film featuring a visit from Mike the Tiger and one
Happy to share a new film with all of you today, and in the midst of the football season is there a better time to share one featuring a visit from Mike the Tiger.
Earlier this summer we shared a clip of Chelsea & Josh's wedding where Mike showed up and the former Tiger cheerleaders in attendance joined him in their Pregame routine. Here's a look at the rest of the day!
Coverage began with prep of both the bride and groom at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. As always we love the setting right on the river and the ease of bouncing between the bride's suite and the groom's prep area so that we can capture all of the pre-ceremony excitement. Shout out to Brittany Devall of ABrittFace for handling the bridesmaids' and bride's make-up (I think you catch of a glimpse of her in there) and Lauren Cox Fedrick who did Chelsea's hair.
Once the dresses and tuxes were on, everyone made the quick trip to St. Joseph Cathedral for the wedding Mass where we were able to get Father's great homily to use in the film.
From there, it was a quick jaunt to Louisiana's Old State Capitol for a stunning reception. Having worked at the Old State Capitol during a few summers back in high school, I always love getting back inside those walls.
Billy Heromans did great work with all of the floral arrangements while Gambino's Bakery did awesome work with the cakes. GROOVY 7 provided the tunes and rocked it as they always do. Ruffino's Catering handled the food and knocked it out of the park. All of the vendors brought their "A" game for sure.
I think that you're able to really see the fun that not only the bride and groom had but that all in attendance shared during the wedding. The party was crazy and massive.
Big thanks to Collin Richie and his crew for sharing the day with us. We always enjoy working alongside Collin and checking out his work when it's finished. Also a huge thank you Allie Wester and her team at Weddings by Allie who created a seamless schedule to the wedding day.
