Kristin | Garrett - Personal Vows at this beautiful, outdoor Baton Rouge wedding.
Very happy to share Kristin Alfandre Maum & Garrett's wedding film with everyone this Monday morning. We really loved the time we were able to spend with the couple at Mount Hope Plantation House. You can see the excitement and love that both of them have for one another in the moments where they're reading each other's letters to one another. There's nervousness, happiness, and smiles galore.
In the film you'll catch glimpses of the hard work that so many people put into the wedding day. Keep an eye out for the beautiful cakes from Les Amis Bake Shoppe, the great flower arrangements from Kristine Natasi, the festoon lighting from Doug Olinde, LLC, and the vintage furniture from FCCE Roundabout. Verde Beauty Studio handled Kristin's hair and make up, and did a beautiful job as well.
We always love when couples write their own vows and really personalize their ceremony. In this case you can hear how much Kristin and Garrett love one another. I also really enjoyed Garrett's words to their son, Nicholas. Please take a minute to watch and hear for yourself.
Big shout out to KBCook Weddings for her coordinating efforts in managing the always crazy wedding day. Also big thanks to Kim and her team at Genovese Ashford Studios in documenting the day alongside us. They're always so great to work with. Also much thanks to DJ Chris Inman who handled the audio for the ceremony and kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening.
Finally, a big plug for Mason's Grill which Kristin's parents own and operate. It's the home of my personal favorite burger in the city (the Cajun Shrimp Burger) and just a great place to grab a bite to eat.
